My old computer crashed and I can't find my disk for MFL Pro Suite. How can I obtain the software again?

Unfortunately, the MFL Pro Suite program is only available on the disk that came with your device. There is no other way to obtain it. If you can't ind your disk, you can try to contact the developer on the official website to obtain support in this matter.
The status monitor says all inks are empty. I know they are not. The installation is OK, copies work in all colours. Everything shows correctly on the screen to print from the system but nothing happens. Should I uninstall and start it again?

If you have changed the INK cartridges, you should perform a new installation over the old one. It's possible that sometimes, because of a bugged application, the level isn't displayed correctly even if you know that the tanks are not empty. Just reinstall the application and initialize the printer's components.
To diagnose the Unable to init error visit the support page from Brother. Follow the instructions carefully then the problem will be fixed. If you still encounter the problem, it must be a mechanical one. The printer will need to be sent to warranty service or to your local Brother representative.

No, you can't download MFL-Pro Suite, because it is distributed only on compact discs with Brother printers. In order to receive a new disc, you need to contact Brother Industries. Also, you can download and install all drivers for your printer from the official web page after you select your operating system.
How can I register my unit if I do not know the dealer? My dad from New York just send it to me here in the Philippines, last November 2008.

You can register the device using the online form created especially for this type of operations. Access the Brother registration page and fill in the form. With the unit nearby, turn it upside down and look for the stick with the model and the serial number.
